It is but a short walk from Oia, the most charming village on the Island of Santorini, a tranquil oasis far removed from the stress of everyday life.
From the stone terrace of each house guest experience a breathtaking panorama, from the azure sky above to the shimmering waters below, framed by a backdrop of brilliant white cave dwellings carved into red cliffs.
Meticulously landscaped grounds provide a mixture of shade and sun. Colourful flowers bloom everywhere, punctuating the white of the buildings and the cool green of the trees with geranium, fuchsia and bougainvillea.
The meditative silence is enriched with the sound of the waves lapping on the volcanic shore and the gentle purring of a fishing boat as it glides across the Caldera. Perivolas' infinity pool, which appears to merge with the glinting blue waters of the sea, completes the refreshment of the body and soul. A place incomparably situated to watch the ever changing light of day, culminating in the spectacular sunset over Oia.
Perivolas Suites and houses
In preserving the original structures no effort has been spared to conserve the aesthetics of the cave houses, while modern comforts have been added to satisfy guests' needs. Each private air-conditioned house with its own stone terrace overlooking Santorini's famous Caldera is unique. It is finished with island antiques and handmade objects that convey simple elegance and a personal touch.
All houses feature vulted celings, spacious rooms. Domed bathrooms, fully equipped kitchenettes. Junior suites have open plan layouts, integrating bedroom and sitting room into one large space, while superior suites have a bedroom separate from the living room. Studios are smaller versions of the junior suites, with sitting area. The presidential Suite features spacious living areas in a grotto-like setting, enhanced by a stem bath and relaxing pool.
